Private Guided Tour Information
When are private tours available?
In general, biking and hiking tours can be scheduled for any day at any time. Kayak tour start times are determined by the tide. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule requirements, but guide availability for private tours is not guaranteed until booking is complete and paid for.
What do private tours cost?
Private tour pricing depends on the various options you select during the booking process. In general, pricing for private tours starts with our regular tour price and adds $20 per participant (or $10 per participant for private hiking tours).
- Private bicycle tours start at $109/person
- Private e-bike tours start at $119/person
- Private kayak tours start at $124/person
- Private hiking tours start at $79/person
All private tour bookings will be charged a 20% mandatory gratuity for the guide/guides.
What is the minimum and maximum group size for a private tour?
We will book private tours for groups as small as two and as large as 24. (If you have more people than that, don't hesitate to get in touch. We will try to work something out to accommodate your group.)

Our local biking guides are available most days during the summer season (and possibly during the off season, as well!) to lead you and your group on a private bicycling or e-biking excursion. We will work with you to choose the route, time, and bike options that fit your needs, interests, and abilities. You may choose to ride e-bikes, conventional bicycles, or a mix of both.
Choose Your Start Location
Our shop in Kennebunk's Lower Village is an excellent starting point for a number of exciting bike and e-bike tour routes. But if that doesn't work for you, we can come to you! Depending on the availability of our driver and transportation, we may be able to bring the bikes to your lodging or another start location of your choice.*

These are tidal waters, so departure dates and times are dependent on the tide. However, within that limitation, we will work with you to plan a private kayak tour that fits your needs, schedule, interests, and abilities.* We are currently offering private kayak tours of the scenic Kennebunk and Mousam rivers. If you have another tour location in mind, don't hesitate to suggest it.*
